Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the ColdCopy application ("App") on iOS or Android, operated by Lidavi ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, Lidavi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on any iOS or Android device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
ColdCopy Pro is available as a one-time, non-consumable purchase through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The purchase price is displayed in your local store currency at the time of purchase.
All purchases are processed by the respective platform operator — Apple Inc. or Google LLC — and are subject to their terms:
Lidavi does not handle payment information directly. The Pro upgrade removes all advertising and lifts the daily transfer limit. Once purchased, the upgrade is tied to your store account (Apple ID on iOS, Google account on Android) and can be restored on any device using the same account at no additional cost via the "Restore Purchase" option in the app.
The free version of ColdCopy permits up to 50 files transferred from your photo library per calendar day. This limit resets at midnight local time. Contacts, calendars, and files from your device's local storage do not count against this limit. Upgrading to Pro removes the cap.
You are solely responsible for:
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Lidavi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App beyond the limited licence described in Section 1.
All content you back up using the App remains your property (or that of the respective rights holders). Lidavi makes no claim to any files transferred through the App.
The free version of the App includes advertising powered by Google AdMob. Your use of the App is also subject to Google's terms of service. Lidavi is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
The App uses the following open-source libraries, each governed by their respective licences:
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Lidavi does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
In particular, Lidavi makes no warranty that backup transfers will be complete or error-free, or that your drive will be compatible with the App. You should verify critical backups independently.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lidavi and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including data loss — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
In any case, Lidavi's total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, these exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lidavi is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or the App Store / Google Play release notes. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
